Last term, Ross from the library invited students to write and submit a play. Three were to be chosen to be performed at the City Library. A small group of students worked hard on their individual plays, which the senior teachers submitted on their behalf. Ross and Mr Mark Kilsby (who has a long association with Centrepoint Theatre) chose Olivia's play, which was about a family who went on a day trip to the Pohangina Valley. Mr Knyn spent many hours working with the group and helping them to hone their acting skills. On Wednesday 2nd September they presented it at the library, accompanied by a strong group of parent supporters.
