It is hard to believe that it is almost the end of the term. We have had an extremely busy term, that began with the school cross country. The students were lucky to have Mr Knyn organise daily training sessions. Some even took up the option of extra training at lunchtimes. Cameron literally 'ran away' with the year 6 title, taking first place by a country mile. Jessica M displayed grit and determination in winning her year 6 race, whilst Sean was a strong second in the year 5 boys' race. We had several students representing Cloverlea at the inter-schools: Trent, Jessica M, Sean, Cameron, Ethan, Jessica U and Jasmine. Jessica M was second in the year 6 race, with the year 6 girls' team taking first place - a fabulous effort!
Most of the girls sang in the Kids for Kids concert with Suzanne Prentice. Taleah and Tyla auditioned for soloist parts, with Tyla being successful and singing to a packed Regent Theatre on the night. Whilst the girls were away at rehearsal, the boys (and Jessica) made a worm farm. They brainstormed what they would need, then set out collecting and assembling the materials. Check out our photos below - we sure had fun!
